This week the Fireflies enjoyed our theme, "Bugs, Bugs, Bugs." We made silly bug headbands, read the story "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," and made our own caterpillar out of balloons to hang outside the classroom!
We enjoyed making and eating an edible life cycle of a butterfly and creating a fun bandaid firefly craft.
We also spent time this week putting together and decorated big styrofoam air planes and had fun flying them outside!
Lastley we were treated to a little ceremony with the special needs coordinator Sue Dexter, our preschool coordinator Lisa Sargent, and Officer Swift from the Wolfeboro Police Department where we received medals and certificates for participating in YAP (Young Athletes Program) throughout the school year.
